BROOMS|The Sound of Muses

The Sound of Muses – A handcrafted sculpture made from plaster, adorned with porcelain accents and embedded crystals.

Inspired by the mythological Muses—goddesses of art and creation, the piece captures the quiet moment where inspiration begins.

By shaping something silent and still into a symbol of movement and emotion, this work reflects how ideas take form and how art becomes a voice of its own.

Size: 50x34x12 cm

About the artist

Sean Fedelman is the founder and artist behind SURFACE Studio.
His work seeks to blur the line between creation and reality, combining modern design with traditional craftsmanship.

In his studio practice, Fedelman closely observes everyday objects, focusing on their textures, forms, and the way light interacts with them. Through traditional handcraft techniques, he transforms these details into sculptural works. His art explores the tension between the temporary nature of consumer culture and the enduring presence of raw materials such as concrete and plaster, while incorporating bold, colorful symbols drawn from pop culture.

His creative process is rooted in material experimentation, breaking down boundaries between art, space, and time. By connecting materials and cultural symbols to childhood memories, Fedelman redefines familiar objects as timeless pieces.

Alongside his sculptural practice, Fedelman designs vintage-inspired watches, approaching them as functional art objects. His entry into the world of watchmaking was inspired by his grandfather, a watchmaker, whose legacy continues to influence his work today.
